Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Fennebresque Interiors offers full-service residential interior decorating.   We strive to create inviting and comfortable rooms with a classic sense of design, scale and style. What makes each project different and special are the clients themselves. We love finding out who our clients are - what they love and how they want to live.  What is important to them? - is it art, texture, color, pattern, or patina? After taking all of this into consideration, we bring in great options. What fun!  We bring all of these elements together to create beautiful and useful spaces which, in turn, make a warm and wonderful home.

Jolee Fennebresque

Associate ASID

A native of Alexandria, Virginia, Jolee was exposed to petite and grande interiors in the Washington, D.C. area as well as those in the sensible North and in the gracious South. After graduating from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, she worked in New York as Social Secretary to Brooke Astor and then in the White House Social Office in Washington, D.C. During these years, Jolee met and was inspired by many great designers (Albert Hadley, Jeffrey Bilhuber, and Ken Blasingame, to name a few) and she soaked in fabulous rooms - ones that withstand the test of time and are created with a solid, classic foundation and layers upon layers of warmth and individuality on top. Jolee loves the different design possibilities that appear with each client – and she provides them with tailored alternatives, which in turn create impeccably beautiful spaces – each one well-representing clients and their families.

After moving to Charlotte with her family over a decade ago, Jolee began her interior decorating career with Bill Cooper of Connoisseur, llc. With this great mentor, she gained years of hands-on experience in the design field as well as a trove of knowledge about art, antiques, rugs, fabric and furniture. Over the years, her design passion organically transformed from a hobby into a full-scale business with the formation of Fennebresque Interiors in 2009. Since then, Jolee’s work has been published in top publications including, Home Design & Decor, LUXE Magazine, Frederic Magazine and Axios Charlotte.

When not scheming, Jolee loves every minute of being with her fun-loving daughter, Margaret and her funny and hardworking husband, John. She also enjoys cooking, gardening, yoga and travel – as well as playing with her favorite mischievous pups – Polly and Maisy.
